..…is the warm greeting that awaits you from the ‘Friends’.
There has been Christian worship, weddings, baptisms and funerals at the site of Kilmallie Church, Corpach, for over 1400 years and you can read its history here. The ‘Friends’ aim to ensure that the Church remains active in future.
Former Kilmallie Parish Church is now part of Fort William Kilmallie, Church of Scotland and the ‘Friends’ aim to work closely with the Kirk Session to ensure a standard of maintenance that means the Church, Hall and surroundings will be available to the congregation and the wider Kilmallie community as:
We need your help and suggestions on how the Kilmallie Church buildings and site can further benefit our community (locally and wider area). What do you think could be offered, made available in the buildings and would be helpful to our community?
The future of all churches comes down to how much they are benefiting the community and so we need to use both the Church and Hall to the maximum.
The ‘Friends’ aims to achieve its purpose by raising funds through social events and donations for the repair and improvement of the Church. If you would like to donate to support our work please read here.
Details of how to join the ‘Friends’ are here.
